A website update...

A Website Update...

Hello to you all on this Monday Morning...

Ah yes, Sunday night in to this morning, a drift of snow, which has now started to disappear. Although I love snow, it's a challenge with a white cane to get around. Anyway, enough on that...

Some Updates...

OK, where to start...

The "In Memory" page, which used to be named "We Will Remember Them" is now a page to cover a number of memorial and commemorative services and acts. Primarily for Remembrance Sunday and other services such as this, but will also be there to hold people we have lost, in our hearts.

The page "The Bishop's Letters." has been renamed... I  didn't want to get in to hot water, so changed it to "Letters from Bishop Gregory." This page brings together the latest letters published on the St. Asaph Diocese website and has links to each title to the original source. I started importing the letters to share on our website  in May / June 2020 with the intention that it would be there as a focus for anyone who needs it. Over that time, each new letter has been imported to share.

The "Tune In" page has been updated and fixed, my apologies for removing last week some of the media for music and liturgy. This was  as I felt I was about to leave both the website and church, so removed any personal links or involvement of my own. These have been restored and have added 4 rather interesting playlists. After the Prestatyn Church In Wales Selection, there are 3 playlists for welsh language hymns in order to support the local community who may tap in to the website. the 2nd part of the addition was a playlist for John Rutter. Why? Well, if you look in to this Genius of a composer and choir director, you'll realise that a number of today's hymns and choral pieces have been composed by  this true gentleman who captures and embodies today's musical liturgical needs, that's in my opinion as a former chorister who listened to and sung some of his works all those years ago.

The start page and tune in page have some added details including subscription to our youtube channel so that you can get the latest services, etc from our website, etc.

Our Events page has also had a major upgrade with a new calendar which includes the 2021 Church In Wales Christian Calendar entries. you can subscribe to this calendar also.

All the best to you all, Keep safe, may faith and the love of God keep you strong.

Lew.
