In Memory Of Capt. Sir. Tom Moore. 1920 - 2021

In Memory Of Capt. Sir. Tom Moore.
1920 - 2021

“Tomorrow, you will maybe find everything be much better than today. Tomorrow will be a good day."

In Commemoration of
Capt. Sir. Tom Moore.
Born 30th April 1920 - Departed 2nd February 2021.

Today, we remember and mourn the loss of a true and great hero, a gentleman who survived the 2nd world war, achieved many great and wonderful things and within the year before his graceful departure from our earth, he gave the greatest of all gifts... Inspiration, Courage, Compassion, Confidence as well as supporting our NHS with fundraising of nearly £33 Million within a very short time.

Sir. Tom, Thank you for being a genuine and courageous inspiration to us all. Your life, your story and your actions have touched the hearts of us all, you have made a unique and memorable difference to so many and given hope where there is fear. Although you lost the battle with COVID19, you fought with honour, courage, faith and dignity.

The Lord bless you and keep you:
The Lord make His face to shine upon you,
To shine upon you and be gracious, and be gracious unto you.

The Lord bless you and keep you:
The Lord make His face to shine upon you,
To shine upon you and be gracious, and be gracious unto you.

The Lord lift up the light
Of His countenance upon you,
The Lord lift up the light
Of His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

Amen.

Capt. Sir. Tom Moore sadly but bravely passed away due to CoronaVirus. He was undergoing treatment for pneumonia and responded well to treatment, sadly, the one virus he fought well against and helped a nation fight back, claimed his life.

Our thoughts, prayers and meditations go out to his family, friends and all those close to him. We pray for strength for all who grieve at this time and we ask that the Lord takes him and holds Sir. Tom in his arms.

Keep Safe,
Keep Praying &
Keep Close to Jesus!

God bless you,

Revd David Ash.
Vicar of Prestatyn.
