Sunday 30 August 2020

In Memory Of Barbara Bond.

Hello all...

Though this is Sunday 30th August and sincerest apologies for the delay in news articles, today we share with you a tribute to a wonderful lady, who we will all miss and remember in our hearts.

If you may recall, back in May this year, through a special marriage license, Derek married the love of his life Barbara, where we held an online special wedding.

Sadly, our good friend Barbara lost her fight with Cancer and died peacefully amongst her family and close friends on Thursday 20th August. It is with this, we wish to pay tribute to Barbara's memory in both our online service and also through the article published in Rhyl & Prestatyn Journal.

Barbara, you will never be forgotten, you will always be close in our hearts and minds. Your infectious personality and laugh we will miss and remember, the light you shine will always be with us. Rest well.

If you have tuned in to our Sunday service, this is the poem in dedication to Barbara. I think it's only fair that this should be here for all to read...

"Look For Me In Rainbows..."

Time for me to go now, I won't say goodbye;
Look for me in rainbows, way up in the sky.

In the morning sunrise when all the world is new,
Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.

Time for me to leave you, I won't say goodbye;
Look for me in rainbows, high up in the sky.

In the evening sunset, when all the world is through,
Just look for me and love me, and I'll be close to you.

It won't be forever, the day will come and then
My loving arms will hold you, when we meet again.

Time for us to part now, we won't say goodbye;
Look for me in rainbows, shining in the sky.

Every waking moment, and all your whole life through
Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.

Just wish me to be near you,
And I'll be there with you.

Keep Safe,
Keep Praying &
Keep Close to Jesus!

God bless you,

Revd David Ash.
