NEWS!!!
Also our "fixed" Sunday Service for Sunday 14th February
and more besides!

Hi Folks

I'm sorry that there were a few issues with the new online Service last Sunday (unless you attended the Premier) as all the music was muted - I blame algorithms!  Thank you to those who pointed this out (I know that some just watched it regardless!).  There was no easy fix, so I have offered a revised version which is now available and this has different music which you should be able to hear (and join in with).  The spoken content is still the same.

Today at 4pm will be the second Mission Area Prayer Meeting via Zoom.  It was wonderful that so many supported this last time, so do tune in through this link which is the same as last time:

Also today there will be an Ash Wednesday service from St Asaph Cathedral at 7pm, which can be accessed via the Cathedral website (https://stasaphcathedral.wales/worship/worship-17-02-2021at7pm) and where the order of service is already available to view.

Here is the special Diocesan Prayer for Lent :

Sovereign Lord,
all our beginnings and endings are encompassed by you.
Help us follow in the footsteps of Christ and seek your Kingdom with all our hearts.
In Jesus, may we find firm footing for our feet and clear direction to our travels.
With his life and love breathed into our witness, may we stand with him,
who, for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross.
Amen.

BREAKING NEWS:
BRAND NEW FOR 2021 is
 THE PRAYER COURSE 2
launched today!

Many of us really enjoyed and valued 'The Prayer Course' which we followed together not long after I arrived, so I want to jump at the chance of running this sequel which focuses on Unanswered Prayer and helps our thoughts within Holy Week.  This will be an online course via zoom starting Wed 24th Feb at 4pm with a Prayer Course catchup - a whirlwind reminder of all that was explored in the first course, then on Wed 31st there is the first of five sessions all at 4pm and all in Holy Week (Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sun of Holy Week).  The book 'God on Mute' by Peter Grieg is still relevant and a helpful read, with copies available from the church bookstall (so a copy could be delivered quickly if you want one).  Otherwise all materials shall be online.
Do let me know if you'd like to attend this/.

Keep Safe,
Keep Praying &
Keep Close to Jesus!

God bless you,

Revd David Ash.
